Per B er en av de som jobber en uendelighet av timer i verkstedet med våre flotte og verdifulle båter. Nå er han litt streng – les, lær og gjør:

4X nr. 265 «Christian Bruusgaard» ble tatt ut av verkstedet for én uke siden. Da hadde jeg med omhu satt toppstag på alle riggerne. Nå ligger båten opprigget i båthallen, men uten et eneste toppstag. Jeg ber om at båten ikke brukes før toppstagene igjen er montert på riggerne.

Jeg minner om at alle utriggede båter med tradisjonelle riggere skal ha toppstag. Hvis de brukes uten toppstag er det stor risiko for skader på riggerbolten, med påfølgende problemer for skværing etc.

For øvrig minner jeg om følgende:

Alle båter skal ligge med bauen inn i båthallen. Efter gårsdagens trening ligger 2X nr. 234 «Michael Ivanov» med bauen i feil retning. Alle braketter mm. er plassert for å passe med bauen inn.
Alle lufteluker skal være åpne når båtene ligger i båthallen. Lukene åpnes ute på båtplassen, før båten bæres inn. Det er viktig at vann i skroget kan renne ut utendørs, ikke inne hvor vannet renner ned i mosjonsbåtene på gulvet. Også mosjonsbåtene trenger for øvrig å tørke innvendig, så også på disse skal luftelukene være åpne i båthallen.
Alle swivellåser skal være lukket før båtene bæres inn. En utstikkende swivellås kan lett komme bort i en annen båt når den legges inn på plass. Dette gjelder både ut- og innriggede båter.
